Türkiye Health Policies Institute participated in the scientific meeting titled “From Brain Death to Organ Donation”.
On December 26, 2024, the monthly scientific meeting on organ transplantation was held at Istanbul Göztepe Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital. Participants from the Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE), including Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Şimşir, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Özaydın, Meryem Mine Karaca, Merve Kovancı, and Gamze Özkan, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, various discussions were held under the theme of “Process Management from Brain Death to Organ Donation”. The meeting featured presentations by coordinator of the Istanbul Regional Coordination Center for Organ Transplantation and doctors who are actively involved in the organ transplantation process. TÜSPE representatives focused on addressing issues and proposing solutions related to organ transplantation and brain death in Türkiye, while also exploring collaboration opportunities for future projects.
