National Burden of Disease and Health Impact Analysis Unit
The National Burden of Disease and Health Impact Analysis Unit evaluates the burden of disease, mortality, morbidity, quality of life, risk factors, and health indicators in Türkiye through analytical methods. The Unit develops epidemiological analyses, health impact analyses, burden of disease studies, and projection models to provide scientific evidence for decision-making processes. Measuring the effects of health policies on population health, identifying priority disease areas, and strengthening data-driven decision-making processes are among the core areas of work of the Unit.
