Public Health and Global Health Policies Unit
The Public Health and Global Health Policies Unit contributes to national and international policy processes aimed at protecting and improving population health. The Unit conducts studies in areas such as communicable and non-communicable diseases, social determinants of health, environmental risks, climate change, disasters, migration, health inequalities, and the global health agenda. The identification of public health priorities, the development of policies for vulnerable groups, the monitoring of national and international good practices, and the provision of scientific contributions to Türkiye’s global health policies are among the core areas of work of the Unit.
