The Report on the Workshop “Gambling Addiction Within the Scope of Behavioral Addictions” Has Been Published
The Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE) has published the official report of the Workshop on Gambling Addiction Within the Scope of Behavioral Addictions, which was organized in collaboration with the Turkish Green Crescent Society and the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, and hosted by Istanbul Medeniyet University.
Prepared with the valuable contributions of participating institutions and field experts, the report presents comprehensive evaluations on the current situation regarding gambling addiction in Türkiye. It includes proposed legislative amendments, policy recommendations, preventive strategies, and intervention areas that can guide national efforts to address behavioral addictions.
This workshop report aims to serve as a strategic reference document to strengthen multi-stakeholder coordination and support the development of integrated and evidence-based approaches in combating gambling addiction.
