Cooperation Meeting in the Field of Health and Communication Was Held
Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE), Istanbul Ticaret University Faculty of Communication and the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Promotion held a meeting on December 10, 2024, to discuss health and communication issues and evaluate cooperation opportunities. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Işıl Maral, President of the Türkiye Health Policies Institute. Employees from the TÜSPE, including researcher Dr. Birol Yetim and R&D Specialist Şeyma Yol, attended the meeting.
The Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Istanbul Ticaret University, Prof. Dr. Celalettin Aktaş, Prof. Dr. Füsun Alver, Prof. Dr. Işıl İrem Budakoğlu from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, and Mustafa Örnek, Eyüp Öksüz, and Zeynep Devran Muharremoğlu from the General Directorate of Health Promotion of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye also participated in the meeting.
Participants emphasized the importance of intersectoral cooperation in the fields of health and communication and exchanged ideas on the studies that can be done on these issues. At the conclusion of the discussions, an agreement was achieved for long-term cooperation through the active engagement of all stakeholders.
