A Cooperation Meeting Was Held Between the Türkiye Health Policies Institute and the Turkish Green Crescent Society within the Scope of Horizon Europe Projects
On 11 June 2025, a meeting was held between the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB)- Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE), and the Project Unit of the Turkish Green Crescent Society to evaluate potential collaborations within the scope of Horizon Europe projects. The meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Işıl MARAL, President of the Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE), was attended by Project and Programme Director Zahide ÖKTEN, Deputy Director of Projects and Programmes Mustafa Zübeyir BERK, Senior Project and Programme Specialist Afra Sena GÜNASLAN, and Project and Programme Specialist Rukiye GÜLERCE; Specialist Dr. Esmehan AYŞİT from Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Health; Gamze ÖZKAN from Türkiye Health Policies Institute.
The discussions focused on possible partnership opportunities in projects aligned with the European Union’s health priorities and strategies to enhance Türkiye’s active involvement. Participants also exchanged ideas on developing new project proposals in areas such as addiction, migrant health, elderly health, and the right to health. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to establish ongoing cooperation between the parties.
