A Collaboration Meeting Was Held Between the Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE) and the Health Systems and Policies Application and Research Center of Medipol University in the Field of Health Policy
A collaboration meeting was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Sabahattin AYDIN and his academic delegation from the Medipol University Health Systems and Policies Application and Research Center (SASPAM) on July 7, 2025. The meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Işıl MARAL, President of The Türkiye Health Policies Institute (TÜSPE), addressed potential areas of joint work to be carried out in line with the goals of ensuring the sustainability of health systems in Türkiye, developing health policies based on scientific foundations, and strengthening university–public sector collaborations.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that there is a strong complementarity between SASPAM’s academic expertise in areas such as health system performance evaluation, health financing, health technologies, and public health policies, and TÜSPE’s work on evidence-based policy development, training programs, and decision support mechanisms. The established basis of collaboration will play an important role in achieving national priorities in the field of health and will enhance Türkiye’s effectiveness at the international level.
